Panel discussion at Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Israel: The Emergence of a New Asset Class and Development of the banking industry under the influence of Blockchain
On March 28, Tel Aviv will host a conference dedicated to blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and ICOs – Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Israel. Besides speakers’ presentations, exhibition area, and pitch session, the event will also feature a panel discussion where experts will talk about the emergence of a new asset class and the development of the banking industry under the influence of blockchain technology.
A discussion moderator will be Liron Rose, an entrepreneur, investor, and the world’s leading partner at B2C Software. He has been investing in technology companies since 2006. He has more than 18 years of experience in online marketing. His recent company, fterDownload, was acquired by Ironsource. He was also a managing director at Barclays Techstars Fintech Accelerator.
The panel discussion will involve leading industry specialists. They include Avi Cohen, Co-Founder and CEO at The Floor, a Global Fintech Innovation Center of access to Fintech innovations for leading international technological giants, venture investors, and financial players. Previously, Avi Cohen was the Head of Digital Solutions at Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and the Director of Digital Projects at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
One more participant will be Meni Rosenfeld, Chairman at Israeli Bitcoin Association, Founder of Cluster and Bitcoil. He led investigations at Similar Group, an analytical company that gives global multi-device market intelligence to understand, track and grow your digital market share.
Shelly Hod Moyal will also take the floor. She is a Co-Founder of iAngels, a global equity crowdfunding platform for investment in Israeli technology startups. Along with her partner, has developed a company from scratch and made it one of the leading investment platforms in Israel within 3 years.
The discussion also engaged Maya Zehavi, a Co-Founder and CEO at Stealthy new venture. Earlier, she led Business Dvelopment at Coin Sciences, a provider of MultiChain, a popular private blockchain developers' tool. Prior to that, Maya co-founded TRST.IM, a blockchain reputation platform. She was first introduced to the blockchain through bitcoin in 2010. Besides, Maya has led a career through the intersection of finance and tech — managing IT implementation for banks and private equity.
The next discussion participant is Efrat Kaufmann, emerging Technologies Business Development Lead at Bank Hapoalim. Efrat has 10 years of experience in innovations for financial and digital banking services. She is responsible for the development of businesses for new technologies. Besides, Efrat Kaufmann develops case studies over Blockchain smart contracts, as well as establishes and implements new business models based on advanced technologies.
